Frequently Asked Questions

Q.What types of party rentals do you offer?
A.We offer a wide range of party rentals, including bounce houses, water slides, inflatable slides, concession machines, tables, chairs, and more!
Q.How far in advance should I book my party rental equipment?
A.We recommend booking your party rental equipment as early as possible to ensure availability, especially during peak seasons. Booking at least 2-4 weeks in advance is advisable.
Q.Can I make changes to my reservation after booking?
A.Yes, you can make changes to your reservation, such as adjusting rental dates or adding/removing items, subject to availability. Please contact us as soon as possible to make any changes.
Q.When do you set up?
A.That depends on how many rentals we have that day. Generally we arrive 1-3 hours before the rental time begins. If we have a lot of rentals that day, we may need to set up as early as 4 hours in advance. If this is the case, we will call the Friday before to confirm that someone will be at the party location.
Q.We've rented some really dirty jumps from other companies in the past. Do you clean them?
A.Yes, we thoroughly clean and sanitize all our equipment after each use to maintain a hygienic environment and ensure the safety of our customers.
Q.Do we have to keep the inflatable plugged in the entire time?
A.Yes. A blower keeps air in the jump unit the entire time. Once unplugged they deflate. That's why we require an outlet within 50 feet of the unit or a generator. Longer cords can pop your circuit breaker so we bring our own heavy duty cords.
Q.What is the best type of water slide for a small backyard party?
A.For small backyard parties, a single-lane inflatable water slide is ideal due to its compact size and ease of setup. It provides a thrilling experience while fitting comfortably in limited spaces.
Q.What payments do you take?
A.Note*** We accept Venmo, Credit and debit Cards. *We verify card holder prior to or at set up. Cash is gladly accepted when the total is received before set up and ID/location is verified. Please call with any concerns or questions. 🙂 (512-825-2525)
Q.What if we need to cancel?
A.Our cancellation policy varies depending on factors such as the time of cancellation and the reason. Please refer to our terms and conditions or contact us directly for details about our cancellation policy.
Q.Can adults use rented water slides?
A.Absolutely! Many water slide rentals from Jumpin Joy are designed to accommodate both children and adults. These slides are built to handle higher weights and provide fun for guests of all ages, making them a great choice for mixed-age events.
Q.Does your company provide setup and takedown services?
A.Jumpin Joy offers setup and takedown services. These services are either included in the rental price or available for an additional fee. This ensures that the water slide is installed and dismantled safely and efficiently.
Q.What safety measures do you have in place for your equipment?
A.Safety is our top priority. All our equipment is regularly inspected, cleaned, and maintained to ensure it meets safety standards. We also provide safety guidelines and instructions for proper use.
Q.What surfaces do you set up on?
A.We can set up on Grass (our favorite and best for the kids), dirt, asphalt, and concrete. Sorry, we can't set up on any type of rocks as the constant rubbing will wear through the vinyl jumps.
Q.Can we see a copy of your contract and safety rules?
A.Yes. There is a link in your receipt once you've ordered or you may contact our office.
Q.Are we responsible for the unit if it gets a tear or damaged in any way?
A.Yes and no. You are not responsible for normal wear and tear on our units. Seams may develop tears in high traffic areas over a period of time. If this happens please alert us at once so we can remedy the situation. If however, damage occurs due to failure to follow our safety rules or negligence (i.e. not turning off the blower in high winds) you will be responsible for all damages up to and including replacement of the unit/blower etc which can cost thousands of dollars. We don't want you or us to be in that situation which is why we have you sign and initial on all of our safety rules so that you can be the trained operator.
